Dr. Kunkel is the Medical Director at Accessible Recovery Services (ARS) and brings his wealth of medical expertise to our suboxone treatment program. Dr. Kunkel has been practicing medicine for over twenty years and is a graduate of University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. Kunkel is board certified by the American Society of Addiction Medicine and is also certified to provide buprenorphine (suboxone) detoxification/treatment. Dr. Kunkel’s articles have been published and he continues to actively advance the field of addiction medicine. Based on Dr. Kunkel’s guidance, ARS’ suboxone treatment program has been rated number one in quality and patient satisfaction.
Combining the medical advantages of suboxone treatment with cognitive-behavioral therapy is a key for long-term improvement. Domenic Verdini M.S.Ed.,L.P.C. has been involved in the psychology field for fourteen years and is a graduate of Westminster College undergraduate program in psychology and Duquesne University’s graduate program in community counseling. Domenic’s clinical experience includes Alpha House, Summit Academy, and Cove Forge. At these facilities and in his private practice, Domenic has provided quality care throughout the years.
